Yesterday 8th of September in Devinska Nova Ves the first historic U23 Championship match was being played, where players from all registered clubs played under the teams of Bratislava Bats and Trnava Sabers.
The game started better for players of Trnava, when they managed to score within the first minute. However Bratislava quickly replied and controlled the game from there. At the end of the first quarter Bratislava was in the lead 3:1. Second quarter was similar to the first one, as Bratislava managed to outscore Trnava 6:2 at the half-time.
At the start of the third quarter Trnava managed to score another goal, but Bratislava was like a well oiled machine and there was no stopping them. At the end of the third quarter they showed their dominance with the score of 10:3. During the last quarter both teams managed to score only one goal each.
With the score of 11:4 the first Slovakian U23 Champions are Bratislava Bats and we are already looking forward for the next year.
